ABOUT US
Marwar Jodhpur was founded with a purpose: to transform the lives of tribal women by providing meaningful employment opportunities. What began with an NGO focused on crafting “Gotta Poshaks” for the wedding season soon evolved into something larger—a year-round initiative to empower women and celebrate the unparalleled artistry of Indian heritage.
Marwar Couture
This vision led to the creation of Marwar Jodhpur, an Indian wedding clothing brand that merges tradition with empowerment. At its heart is a mission to promote women’s empowerment, support cottage industries, and honor the craftsmanship of India’s diverse regions. Our collections feature treasures of Indian heritage: the glittering Gota from Jaipur, intricate Batik from Ahmedabad, artistic Kantha from Bengal, and vibrant Bandhej from Gujarat—Banjara from Andhra Pradesh.
But the story doesn’t end there. Marwar Jodhpur also integrates other timeless crafts such as Kiran Dori, a metallic threadwork that adds elegance, Persian Gara from Bengal, blending Persian and Indian artistry, Marori from Lucknow, a testament to royal craftsmanship, Aari from Gujarat, famous for its fine chain-stitch embroidery, Zardozi from Lucknow, exuding regal opulence, Shisha from Rajasthan, capturing the essence of mirror work.
Each piece we create is not just an outfit but a testament to the skill of the artisans and the resilience of women carving out brighter futures for themselves and their families. By choosing Marwar Jodhpur, you are not just embracing the splendor of Indian weddings—you are supporting a legacy of empowerment, tradition, and artistry.
